Procedure for Remanfacturing
- Inspect exterior of cartridge, looking for leaks and damage
- Test drum for quality, scratches, lines, dings and discharge characteristics on appropriate laser printer
- Disassemble cartridge, separating drum into appropriate bin with lid matching bin number
- Drain and vacuum toner-hopper on auto vacuum system
- Blow out waste bin with compressed air testing seal
- Check waste bin rotating gear (recovery blades must be intact)
- Check alignment of retention blade, replace if necessary
- Replace wiper blade
- Check magnetic roller on toner hopper
- Re-coat magnetic roller, cure magnetic roller by type
- Replace felts for magnetic roller cartridge
- Replace shims
- Replace magnetic roller
- Refill with OEM specfications of toner
- Check seal, clean extraneous toner from hopper
- Clean with cleaning solution and refurbish doctor blade
- Insert corona magnetic to contain dust
- Clean and lubricate drum and drum axles
- Check toner level on magnetic roller and re-gap if necessary
- Lubricate wiper blades and drum surface with Padding Powder.
- Reassemble cartridge
- Test cartridge for static with appropriate laser printer
- Test density of toner, coverage, and overall quality of print
- Clean exterior prior to bagging
- Bag in light proof, static resistant, moisture proof foil bag
